EMS: The story so far…….
Where it all started
About two years ago the three directors of EMS were about to be made redundant, from a business and an industry they all had experience in.
They sat together over a cup of coffee and discussed what they were going to do next.
That cup of coffee developed into a working partnership, looking at an idea on how we could create a business and help others in our position.
What we did know about and what we do well is starting and running businesses, so that’s what we did.
We started and we run a business helping others, we are the same as you………..
And now?
From our beginnings, we’ve expanded quite a bit. We now cover the whole of the North East, Yorkshire and North West and we looking further afield. We have worked in our first year with over 1000 individuals and businesses, 572 of which are new businesses contributing to the local, regional and national economies.
The future
We’re bigger than we once were, but our concerns are the same as ever. We still want to be involved in Enterprise at every level, in every local community, in every boardroom with every entrepreneur.
